" RSPCA Fylde Branch has been in existence for over 40 years. Although based in Fleetwood we also cover Thornton Cleveleys, Poulton, Kirkham and Lytham St Annes, we help re-home unwanted and abandoned pets and in certain circumstances we can help people with veterinary treatment costs. Our Advice Line takes many hundreds of calls a week dealing with all sorts of local animal welfare issues.

Like the majority of local RSPCA Branches we don't have our own animal home so we rely on private boarding facilities to look after our animals, unfortunately we can only take in unwanted pets when there is space available therefore we are always desperately in need of good homes for dogs and cats. Last year (2009) we re-homed nearly 300 animals including 77 dogs, 126 cats, 4 rabbits and a rat. So please take a look at our homeless pets pages"
